Connect Claude Code, Codex, Gemini and Grok using your Passion8 endpoint, API key and model, through VS Code, Cline, the CLI or an API project.

Passion8 is an OpenAI / Anthropic-compatible API gateway for developers. Use your Passion8 endpoint, API key and model to connect Claude Code, Codex, Gemini or Grok. Start in VS Code, Cline, the CLI or your own API project, then explore commands, workflows, caching and administration.

Passion8 independently publishes these gateway tutorials; each article links to upstream references. Vendor subscriptions, hosted features and gateway API access have separate requirements.

#Claude Code

Install first, then configure. Installation covers the CLI, desktop and official IDE extension. Configuration offers manual setup and CC-Switch.

#Codex

#Grok

For VS Code, start with Cline. You can also use the official Grok Build CLI, or connect Codex CLI / App through CC-Switch's GPT provider. The Base URL is https://passion8.cc/v1 and must include /v1.

#Gemini

For VS Code, start with Cline and the OpenAI-compatible endpoint https://passion8.cc/v1. For native Gemini API-key clients, use https://passion8.cc, without /v1; the CLI guide remains available as an alternative.

Set up your account and balance if you do not have an API key yet.

CLI clients support manual configuration files or CC-Switch graphical management. Cline uses its provider settings panel. Enter the Passion8 endpoint and your Passion8 API key in CC-Switch.
